I'll find water but if there's canoes or kayaks they better be carried, or amphibian crafts. We'll see. It's been raining more lately so I guess it's possible. I'll go down to the river shortly.Roger

You can't tell me there are no whitewater rafters in Vermont. You guys all act like you have mountains, there's no rivers in the mountains? Or no one turns off their TVs to go outside and play in the water? I bet there are commercial guided raft trips in about thirty or so states. The point of this is to go ride, like I did.
What about all you riders in the rest of the world? This is an easy tag for most anyone except maybe those in Florida or Louisianna. I have seen rafts gong down whitewater in a lot of states and countries.Comment

Be about a hundred and twenty five miles for me. Nice ride though. Getting anywhere near Hell's Gate for a picture of the bike and rafts is another matter. No roads down there. Good tag though. Somebody must have some white water running by a road......Comment

All I'm saying is with little snow in the mountains last winter for spring runoff or much rain this summer, I won't be able to find whitewater. That just means I won't be after this tag...then again I haven't done much with this game lately. You can't tell me there are no whitewater rafters in Vermont. Rafter's no... Biggest tributaries to fit rafts are pretty slow moving in my neck of the woods.. Tubing though... Thats Frickin' every where. I'll look into this though. Like I said if I can be creative I can post a picture of a raft in white water

Tubing will work, as long as they're doing some rapids.Comment

Ok, new rubber on the ground, I'm headed for the rapids. Its about 2 hours north of here and the forecast looks iffy. We'll see about rafters, but have fun riding im sure.Roger

Have a nice ride!Comment

At least you have good rubber now that will swipe the water away!!!
Make sure you grab a new post!
I'm planning on racking a few hundred miles tomorrow and intended on passing by some tubing companies to nab the tag. So keep us apprised of the new tag! I'm planning on incorporating it (whatever it might be) for my ride tomorrow.
Ride safe!Comment

I'll see your rafters and raise you $1.92
We had a great ride so far to Taos, NM. Sunny day early on, good riding and rafting weather. Stopped on the way home for nachos and coffee while the hail stops.

The tag, gas station with $1.92 per gallon.

Never tried this from my phone. Hope it works.

Just for funRoger
