Twice, the second time was fake snow on a building at Disney's Blizzard Beach water park.

Yes, as noted lighting doesn’t matter, and the subject matter is sometimes up to creative interpretation.
For example, there was a snow tag, and Rick found a street named Snow...

Boy, you're thorough Rich. Not just an ice cream shop but low light too.
This sunflower field sounds like a good one for the KLR. I have to level my laundry room floor real quick then I'll head out and see what I can find.

So If I've got the rules straight...
I see your low-light ice cream shop

and raise you a field of sunflowers

Next!
I figured keep it simple to possibly get things moving, plus its a long weekend. Two 1150s in the Game is just cool....
And a thought. If the Game ends does he who gets the last tag win?
( I dont want to win)

I think part of my issue besides the time is the attitude that a picture can't be very hard. The game was originally designed get everyone out to ride in search of the tag not cater to one or two people who can quickly and easily get the tag. Oh well, it was fun

I enjoyed the Riding Game for a while.
I liked the idea of thinking where could find something that fit the tag, and then riding there.
What eventually became troublesome for me was then being in a hurry to get home to be the first to post the pic (in competition with those that can post directly from there smart phone). It got to be that that out-weighed the fun. So stepped away.
I do like to step in here every once in a while to see what is going on.

Similar but but quite different in that Riding Game pics need to be current - no stock photos. Honor system obviously, but still, the point is to actually get out and ride.

I still like the game and for a few summers it was a major motivator for me to get out and ride, plus the fist summer I played, I was doing some night shifts so I could get out in the daylight.
The last couple of summers, it’s been more difficult to get out on my late night ventures, both from a schedule and a motivational perspective- I haven’t been staying up nearly as late as I have in the past.

I put the blame on PB. They have literally screwed up a good thing. It's become a pain just to look at my own page.Originally posted by Burque73 View PostI have enjoyed this game for a couple of years. Definitely more fun when at least five or six others played. Rick, something weird is happening in that your last two or three posts didn't show up when I hit the "New Posts" button on top. Didn't see your tower pic until days after you posted it. And again with the train thing, just showed up today.
I actually went out a week ago and got the go kart pic but had to run some errands immediately after and never found a new tag. I'll admit it's not too difficult to just find something. Doesn't have to be a pink elephant or whatever, just something!
We've tried to change things up a bit but it just doesn't get the participation any more. Someone told me that after a day of riding, to get to a computer immediately and upload/ post pics was not something they were interested in doing. Family was waiting for them and to walk in and say hi, I'm home but now gotta sit in front of a computer, so not really home yet. Or something like that... Maybe just the different format of that other picture game was what folks needed. We all enjoy taking pictures, especially pictures of bikes, and this interaction with folks around the world while getting to see parts of Europe or Africa or Canada or Texas (yeah it's like another country) has been super fun. I'll keep riding and finding things to post here when I can. Hope it continues.

Nah, the Riding Game has been around for years and it may finally have run it course. I have to use a flip phone for my picture taking and the quality just isn't good enough for that game. I've used up just about every tag idea in my neck of the woods over the last 7 years and was just helping it to move along at times anyway. It can end, it had a good run, nearly a decade. Maybe some news guys will come along some day with some new blood and revive it like Roger did for this past year or so. Photobucket's shenanigans has also put a glitch into the system.Originally posted by Rich82GS750TZ View Postmaybe it's that it's kind of similar to pic-of-the-week.
