            Maybe a 4 cylinder CBX?
yeah they did, the engine sounded good, carbs were okay but the frame was scrap metal, he wanted $2.5K which is essentially the value of a running cbx engine, titled frames can be found on ebay for $500, it was missing the seat (500), tail cowl (300-1000), tank (500-2K), forks, bars(1-2K), lights, indicators and bunch of other parts...probably over 7K by the time you have everything needed, I wasn't looking for another cbx project one is enough...none of my cbx buddies were interested it was just too far gone...but someone did buy it!

a good cbx around 11-13K, excellent 15-16K or more ....but if you pay attention to internet listings there are nice re-store-able specimens to be had for 3-6K

Some of these bikes are tracked down and purchased. Most are ridiculously over priced.
We gotta tell somebody, these emperors have no clothes on.
                    Made me LOL!
Well this one's just interesting, just a "funny" because it comes up when I type "Katana" (URGH! the 1100cc 1990 Katana near me sold, Didn't think I could get it , then looked again..."Procrastination" equals FIVE syllables for "SLOTH" itself!) Had same motor as my MC, some reason the specs are like 30HP more on it . same weight practically...Anyway here's the only "funny' when I put Katana:

                    Anyway:
Been interested in these for years. There's a lot of good info in the ad.
I was wondering what they did about titling , Ad explains titled as "specially constructed vehicle".
That itself is a PITA and expensive.
There's so many laws, most can be checked on DMV site but without ability to add a VIN , even a go-cart or mini-bike is illegal to sell (These days, where I live anyway)...

Well not "funny" like stupid , just funny as in strange ad/interesting IMO...

I'm probably the oddball on this... but I kinda like it. I'd sure hate to be the guy that gets it and has to buy parts for it in the future though.

This ones been dropping in price for the last year but still around:

Only needs a little finishing up huh:

Almost completely rebuilt, just needs a starter(will start but getting weak) a battery, carbs and timing final adjusted (will run and ride), rear master cylinder, and a seat made. Everything else is new or rebuilt. Over $3000 in it so far. Im going to be really busy for the next few years and don't want to see it sit for that long so close to being done. Would be a great first project or just a simple off season finish up.
