Indeed, there's no end of plaid designs. The Victorians went nuts with it, when the Queen took up with John Brown and Balmoral.Possibly based on a Scottish Tartan.
..Interesting idea but them as take their tartans seriously will want their own clan's and not this, whichever it is.Comment

The actual Burberry tartan is a corporate design and owes nothing to anything Scottish as far as I can gather. Designer's whim, I think.
