How about this one? I wonder who would write up an insurance appraisal of it for $27K.

Only 177 miles, another midlife crisis purchase.

Does the 4x6 come with it?

Where do you strap it on so you have it when you stop?

Highway Glider, it's a 2008 model, so he's had almost 3 years of bar-hopping to rack up those (high) miles.

Looks like he has a tether hanging off the back end for that.

I'm sure you could ride that one 177 miles, maybe like 177 times around the neighborhood over a three year period or something. Not sure why you'd want to.

I can think of better uses for that board and tether.

I saw that, but wasn't sure if that's what it was for.

Would you trust this guy whose now trying to run an auction on CL? Had this bike listed for $1200/BRO a few days ago and didn't respond to an e-mail to come look at it. Now I see why. Using the "I lost my job" and keeping someone on hold for $1500 now. Why bother with him? Maybe someone should offer him $2000 and then jilt him, to give him a taste of his own meds....

It is just a cheesy security measure.

OR you could buy about 4 or 5 of the other GS's listed for sale....JUST a bit too pricey for me...
