Okay ride went fine, bike was great, not one hiccup. Got skunked on the prize drawing though...oh well. Ah one correction, tach is way slow. Barely goes past 4,500 rpms. The shaft/bushing were freed upped and soaked for a week with triflow oil. Works smoothly, just not displaying the correct rpms.Last edited by Guest; 06-13-2013, 12:08 PM.Comment

Grand Rapids, Blues On The Mall, Tommy Castro
Rode into Grand Rapids yesterday evening. Took road that follows along the river..
Went to Blues On The Mall.
Nearby they have this one parking lot that is for motorcycles only for this occasion. Hundreds of bikes.
Complete with beer sales, in the parking lot. scheesch.
I think I saw one other helmet, and maybe three other jackets (although leather with "Outlaw MC" patches).
I walked over to where the band was playing and were the food vendors were.
Band was great.
Food vendors good. Has great Lamb Eyro and good sweat-sour chicken and vegitable dish.
Some friends of mine got there real early so they could sit right up front.

Weather forcast Had been predicted t-storms all day. It looked to me like the storm coulds had passed by late in afternoon, and next batch of storm clouds maybe not coming through till late at night.
I was wrong.
Band played without break for about hour and half.
Then some dark clouds rolling in.
Started raining just as I was leaving. I was putting on rain gear as most all the other mo'cycle were heading out. Was fun to just stand there, in rain, wearing raingear, watching the helmet-less jacket-less guys riding out in what looked like a panic.
And was pouring before I got out of downtown and on highway. Rained hard most of the way home.

Finally....
Well I finally went out for a longer ride than just the daily commute to work and back, stopped off at one of my favorite spots to take a few pictures, and even had a buddy out on his first ride with his new to him CB600RR, it was his first time out, he just got the bike and his license not more than a week ago...
we were out for about an hour and a half.....I still need to figure out why my bike won't idle and I noticed as it got warmer and at normal temperature it was struggling more in keeping idle, but that is for another thread...

Don't I wish, it's actually a home that was passed onto the the City, it was used for Corporate meetings and such, now it's just a little touristy area, with lots of trails around the property....

Part 5 at last... this is all one road we went on that I'd never seen before and it is awesome fun! The whole road end to end is great, and there is some fun tight twisty stuff up a hill starting at about 4:30.
I have to do it again on my own or leading I think...

Went for a ride up the coast the day before yesterday. This is the return trip. For those of you unfamiliar with Vancouver. The bridge { Lions Gate } is the entrance to the city from West Vancouver and the park { Stanley Park } is the exit I take after coming off the bridge which pops out in my neighborhood. It ends at my corner store. { I was hungry }
