    Yesterday.
36 to 38 degrees F. (so not ice on raod, and not so warm that lots of snow bank melting across the road).
Had rained a bit the day before (wash salt off road).

Getting out the drive way was only problem.

Went out for about 1 hour 15 minute ride.

Man, the heated gloves really make the difference. Without them I would have been done in about 15 minutes.

        Samsonite

Samson - gorgeous bike (I'm biased, I have a red '82). I don't know if you have side covers, but if you do, do they fit on with the 4-air-filter set up?

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

Pictures make it look better than it is

Yes the side covers fit fine. I just have to re-do the tabs on mine, that's why they are off.

I think the UNI's are some of the best filters you can run. I don't trust K&N style. Have heard too many horror stories of "dusted" engines. From Dirtbikes to diesel trucks.

Riding in to work tomorrow. I have to visit a different campus to do some work on testing software. It is supposed to be 46 F on the way in, and 73 mid-day.

                      ...

So you take one for a ride, then take another, then take another.

Tell us about the numbers on the front fender. That from some European country or something?

I ride everyday sometimes it looks like this (though if the teenager I had my teenager call to check for snow in town knew what snow looked like I may not have that morning)

Normally it's sunny even if it is cold....

Yesterday Glenn and I got out for a good ride up to Sooke and the Otter Point loop.

This morning I took my boy out for breakfast...

Then Dave and I had an "ugly bike" get together today.
