Went for a nice ride the other day in the area which will be my new home, Chase BC. Population 2500 - Saaluuute! (Old Hee Haw reference for you young'uns)

This is at the Chase overlook on Jade Mountain

I had to scoot a mountain sheep family out of the way before I could take the shot though!

THat is an interesting pier down there. Can you get to it? Maybe not intended for public access. Maybe just for, I don't know, ship unloading or something.

Photos of mountain goats interesting too.
Mountain goats with urban area in same view.

They kinda look like goats but they actually are sheep. Very common place in the BC interior.
Radium Hot Springs, near me, has them in town by the dozens. Not really too concerned about people, just don't get too close. http://www.mountainsprings.bc.ca/images/bighorn.jpg
Glen, hope you like your new digs. I still have nightmares from spending time in the pub there when I was in my 20's.
