Got out for a while this afternoon in the warmish weather...When the season is ending i feel the urge to ignore the speed limit signs and ride at a pace that feels right. Not crazy, just a nice flow....

Saw this 69? Riveria at the Wawa. An unusual choice to hot rod, which makes it that much cooler in my opinion. The paint was showing its age, but i still dug it.

Stahlgrauh333s idea actually..I just jumped into the selfie. We took an old backrest / rack he had and fastened it under the shock bolts, wrapped torn blue jeans around the seat chrome trim, and wired the back side of the rack to the seat rail with heavy wire so his girl would be comfy...kinda McGyver rigged but it worked.

Wawa is a chain of gas/convenience stores in the NJ/ eastern Pa area....Think 7 Eleven but nicer...
Apparently they are branching out....On a recent trip to Maryland for a work, to my delight, there was a brand spanking new one near my hotel. I happily used the free air pump to fill my cycle tire after plugging it, saving the CO2 cartridges in my newly acquired plug kit....

Why is it that we always ride on the same days, on the same roads, but never together?

Lol...I was thinking the same thing Dave. Mine was kinda a impromptu ride. Met the wife for a coffee at wheelies then took "the long way home".

52 degrees and sunny today. Primed the carbs and fired up the GS for a hour long ride. Ran great even with 3X Sta-bil in the tank. Supposed to be even nicer tomorrow. Couple weeks ago it was 22 degrees and snow....
