Yes I went Bogus Basin Rd halfway.Road goes up to ski resort eventually above Boise,Idaho. It was 45 F outside, a little chilly. But sure is a fun road with lots of twistys. Probably will be last ride until spring with some more wet weather due in.....we need it. Ski resort has not opened yet and not much snow up there.

        alhntr,

That's a fine looking machine, had a 750 in that color scheme back in the day, then a red one later. Nice photos.

          'Twas five days before Christmas,
And the roads were a mess,
          Not a moto was stirring,
          Except for Project GS.

Well, maybe there were a few bikes out... Island Motorrad had their Christmas Chili Cookoff and Open House today and I was one of a dozen or so whackjobs who braved the wind and rain (and +11 degree temp) and worked my way down on two wheels. And occasionally one.

I went to the BMW event too. It was also a fundraiser for my neighbour Mike who is a Saanich cop. Pouring rain, wind gusts up to 80kms....perfect day for riding. Lol....got in a 100km (63miles) ride today.

No pix, but rode over to atsion st.pk. & back on some county roads to clear out the cobwebs in the bike & in my head. It's been a tough season at the store.

Just long enough to bring the bike back to the house (the scenic route) this afternoon before Christmas dinner so I can ride tomorrow. Supposed to be in the upper 40s to low 50s
