Lucky dog, gets to commute through the texas hill country, while we in Houston have nothing but flat straight roads with traffic I still have a ticket to take care of from near La Grange. 91 is nothing for Texas, redman. When I lived in Michigan it cracked me up when people freaked out about 90 degree weather. We're perfectly happy with 91 and less than 75% humidity here in Texas, but we only get that a couple months of the year.

Went for a scoot last night around dusk. All the roads over by the Children's Hospital are brand new and nice to ride on. Testing my clutch cable adjustments.

Obviously you got the rear drive sorted. Nice work.
btw...where is everybody? Your roads are empty.

Went for a ride on Route 14 here in VT... Gorgeous day for it! 600 miles so far on the new bike... Touring is a breeze!

Gorgeous ride, delivering some GR parts to some locals.

              Love Vermont summers...

                Or special trip today?
                A bit hot today?
I see is 91 in Bandera now, so maybe that not considered too hot for there.

                Any pics?
I was there in March 2005 (for GSR rally) and always wanted to go back. And had occasion to do so a couple years ago.

                .

Only pics I got was when I made it to the river with my buddies. I'll get those up soon.

Yes it's in the 90's here in the afternoons. It's in the 70's in the morning. I commute to Marble Falls sometimes twice a week but my main office in Austin is only 2 miles from my house!

West of Austin is beautiful highland lake country and hills. Great riding out here.

Hey jedz, congrats on the new bike it's a beauty!
A connie was on my short list when I bought the K1300R but in the end it was just a little heavy and top heavy for the amount of around town riding I do.
                  Enjoy!

                    Pics are uploaded finally!

This was a huge tree! We were at Krause Springs last Saturday in Spicewod,TX.

This is on the way to my Marble Falls office when I do the 90 mile round trip commute. I'm the guy with the back pack in the middle. Haha

And here are pics I took at the river on my commute back on Wednesday from Marble Falls. This is Lake Austin which is technically the Colorado River.

This pretty little blonde girl was hula hooping. She was pretty good too.

It was nice to take a dip after that 45 mile trip back on the bike. There are some good twisties on the road down to this park and Bee Caves Road is pretty fun too with long flowing curves. No pics of the roads though.

This is my riding buddy French. This boy is crazy and we've been friends for over 20 years. He was doing double backflips and gainers off the boat house at this park.

Heh! Man I lived in Houston with my sister when I was 21. That's when I had my 76 KZ650SR and totaled it! I have lot's of family there and it is a flat concrete jungle.

Hey this tree deserved a hug! This is a really big tree and they don't normally get that freakin big! This thing was all trunk too all the way to the top almost.

I guess that's what happens when it has plenty of spring water to soak up year round. It has to be ancient.

i just got back from a 5 day bike trip on my gs1000g, the bike i call "the ugly". about 500 miles in central ny finger lakes region. the ugly handled everything from 75mph highway runs to rocky mountain roads. the first two days i camped on state land and wandered back roads.

i stayed with friends and family in the finger lakes and in syracuse, ny. spent the days doing odd jobs to pay them back for food, booze and lodging.

i replaced the starter on this tractor:

then i took it for a test drive. felt like driving a train, what a beast.
