Last month in Shenandoah National Park.

Looks like the Skyline Drive. I was there on the vStrom last month and then did all of the Blue Ridge Parkway too. Great ride. We camped in that park and had our black bear encounter.

It is Skyline Drive. I took a solo day trip before the temperature dropped. It's a beautiful ride and a great place to camp.

I feel like a third of the times I'm there I have a black bear cross my path.

I took my BMW in to the stealer to get the 40,000km service done (not bad for 21 months ) the work is being done tomorrow but I dropped it off today to pick up my loaner bike. Cool. I do appreciate the service.

Yup, dirt roads and foliage makes the ride better....today. I had even better photo ops as the ride continued, but the iPhone battery died on me.

Finally the leafers are gone, Leafs dropped but still gorgeous day to ride!
Routes 30, 73, 100, 17 and 116 were all mine today, Little to no traffic... Phew Finally!

Falls on the side of the road off of route 100... No idea what they are called but there usually swarming with tourists... Today I actually got a chance to enjoy them.

And right behind my house... Maybe 300 feet from my driveway... God I love this spot!

jedz, i did a google streetview of part of rt. 17. there was a sign that said, "not recommended for winter travel by trucks, buses or rvs." that's a cool road.
i must ride it.

Lyle You've never been up 17? Its pretty rough but...

THEY ARE STARTING TO PAVE IT!!!!!! YEah some of the real bad stuff has some new tarmac on it... Finished grinding out my left foot peg on it today...

Also noticed my boot was feeling weird... Checked that... Oops, JEdz needs to invest into a sport bike for next year



We will have to hit it next year for sure! Also feel free to visit anytime your in this neck of the woods!...
