Today was probably my last ride for a bit....

I went out to the local VA cemetery. I haven't found a riding buddy yet, so any real trips are going to have to wait till then. I have the luxury of having most excellent weather in the winter. However, summer will be a different story with regular 100 + degree temps.

That's a good looking bike (hard to believe it's a shaft). What's the finish on the headers?
1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

I used a VHT silver header paint. Since I had to wait for the gaskets to come in, it had plenty of time to cure. So far, I'm impressed! I do want to get a new header, but I have to wait till some bills get paid off first. It needs tires before a header, though.

Thanks! Hard to believe there aren't other nice G's out there. I do love photography. There's not enough backdrops down here to suit my fancy.

I have had a bad cold for the last 6 days and didn't get to take advantage of the nice weekend for riding. Later today the sun partially came out and the roads were dry, I was itching to get out, cold be damn, on the DR to try out the new tires...Really loving this bike.

                            No, I resisted...lol

That last shot is such a teaser! As if you were going to take it through that mud-hole and get it all dirty...

Funny thing about those little dual-sports, you find them to be so much fun that the big bikes get left in the garage a lot!

I think I know what you mean Glenn...I have a feeling I will be riding this bike more than the "older" Suzukis.
