Nice! The MRS. and I went out for 150 mile loop on my Connie Yesterday... Couldn't have asked for a more perfect day to ride!

Got the 650 out and knocked the dust off it.
It's a great bike. I've put about 6k miles on this one so far. I bought it for 350$ and rode it to the Indiana rally two weeks later after doing the carbs right.
Went out today for a spring shakedown around the county.
      Not bad....not bad at all.

Trevor, I love the looks of your red/black bike. Is that the 750?

Speaking of which.....Meet the new additions to the bobgroger garage. Went to look at some parts at kurt11234's house. He had a clutch basket and nut I was interested in, as I looked around I saw more and more I wanted. Ended up making a deal for everything Suzuki in the garage. A 81 1100e, an 82\83 frankenbike, enough parts for another bike, and a box of OEM 81 parts. 81 has potential to be very nice, good stock exhaust. He's buying a new FZ09, My garage is beyond full. What do I get rid of?

If you want some help cleaning out the garage, I would take that Giant hanging on the wall.

If you want to travel to the left coast and ride it back I'm sure we could make a deal. Only has about 20 miles on it...

What you get rid is the shelving unit at the far end.
Plenty o' room to squeeze another one in there.

Picked up this thing last week. Yeah, I know it's not a GS and I probably could have picked up decent one for what I paid for it. The wife got one too. It was actually her idea to upgrade bikes because I'm usually too cheap. Having fun riding it even though it's not very fast, at least uphill that is. Put 85 kms on it so far, my GSs are jealous. Next picture will have a GS in it ...I promise.

I decided to take a ride over to the coast Monday to see a recently found childhood friend from I was three years old. We hadn't seen each other since I was about 11 (we think?) So down the Klamath river I go.

I was about 230 miles (4 1/2hours) to his house. I took a few pictures, but nothing spectacular.

Nice see my old friend for a few hours. Got a late start back and It wound taking me 6 hours to get home, arriving at 10:00pm. It was the best night ride I've ever had. Full moon, new ADV Monster LED bulb and a clear face shield make all the difference in the world. Total of 460 miles in the day and 10 hours of riding time. Well, that includes 1 hour waiting for road construction escorts. The speedo drive died about 100 miles from home. Speed limits are only suggestions along the river anyway,.....I think?

What a shame, I guess it is your garage queen eh? If only I was closer, we would be talking more seriously about the Giant.

Hit the dirt today. Old Mine site from the turn of the century. Was great riding, had the whole mountain to myself.

One heck of a hill climb, and no I did not attempt it.
