Sad news about your dad, Limeex2. I see my dad occasionally but he'll never ride with me either. I do have a pic of him at least sitting on my first bike many years ago.

Mom rode with me, but won't admit it.

A couple of pics from my ride today. The scenery was so beautiful in person, but the pics by way of comparison are just, meh.

        Still a great ride though.

Nice to be feeling back to my self after my ER/Hospital visit last weekend... Back to riding like a MOTHA!

So riding every day, Shan and I did 130 miles on Saturday, rode yesterday and hit another +1000 mile week.

Cresting 43K today, planning a trip to MD should break 45K miles by day end Sunday on the new Bonneville

Finally got the TT600 out for a couple hours today. Got a couple small things to address, but overall a good ride.
Stopped by the old Texaco station on 144.

So last Wed I packed dad in his Urn into the trunk of my bike and took him to the places he grew up in White Bear lake, Mn. Its a short beautiful drive on what was a spectacular fall day. We stopped at his favorite beach, shared a bump, shared a story and watched the wind surfers. He will be missed by many. May he rest in peace.
Also sorry for your loss. Good that you finally got to take him for a ride.

Some more ivy and grape vines changing colours in my area.
Too early for the trees but chance of frost tonight might change that.

Hey, if you parked the other way in the first pic, those vines would almost look as pretty as the pipes & the same upswept angle.

da frost is on da pumpkin, or at least on the Malibu in the driveway.

barley 40 degrees this morning, out for a little ride before going out for coffee.
A little bit of fall color.

(enterance drive to a park, not a road)

Sat at coffee shop with group of folks there that have gotten to know, then ran a couple errands. Got sprinkled on a couple times before geting back home. (45degF).
