Yesterday I took the ferry over to Vancouver for my company's annual Gala fundraiser and I was happy that I could ride a bike over as the ferries have been a nightmare....motorcycles get priority boarding and always get on the boat even if it's fully booked.

My last day in the Ozarks. Quite windy again but 81 degrees so I'll take it. Fall foliage is excellent this time around.

Rode yesterday and today-yesterday to meet a friend to watch UFC, and today to try out Old Ellsworth Brewing, which was a total hit. Total miles between the two days just under 130."Thought he, it is a wicked world in all meridians; I'll die a pagan."

20221028_173745~2.jpg Even with cooling temperatures and shorter days I was able to go on a 200 mile ride.
I have to hit, or come close to 600 miles by next Friday for it's 600 mile service. I want to get that service done before winter storage. My Motorcycles:

100 mile ride on the GS1000G I traded for the 550E. Definitely worth the trade even though I am trying to troubleshoot out a clutch issue (sip) in the higher gear when delivering the 100 ponies. A total cream puff of a motorcycle, I've never owned a big block shafty and will say, Suzuki Nailed these 8V rigs. Super comfortable. I would say I did an decent job at brining the old bike back up to snuff.

Cheers!
Larry, looks like a fun adventure! Can't wait to get out of Vermont but being a new Dad is probably the coolest thing I've ever done. I'm with you vicariously! Travel safe.Comment
