      HARMA race @ Gingerman, Michigan

      Happy Happy, Joy Joy!
Spent a few hours stalking the pits and watching the races today.
Met Joe Ryan, owner/racer of an 8 valve GS750, bored out to 930mm.
I got many more pics too, will have to post a thread with most of them.

      Joe Ryan

Here's another local guy, I'll get his name at the next track day.

Amazing I knew Suzuki bikes were incredibly advanced but walking on water is a step beyond.

IMG-20160606-03023.jpg Into the forest. Getting pretty cool now under 10?C. Took the long way to go and buy a car part, through the hills. Only about 50km out of my way

Inaugural ride on the '81 yesterday. About 100 miles. No problems, heading out Wednesday for the 400-ish miles to John Day. Made sure I upgraded to Towing with trip interruption on my insurance. Not sure if I will use the stock seat covered with Duct Tape that sticks to my butt, or the cut down uncomfortable but nicer looking one.

After THREE YEARS without riding, I was back on the road yesterday, a nice 80 mile loop in western West Virginia. So nice to be in the saddle again and get the little biker wave from other bikers. Major kudos to GSRick who made a functioning bike out of the pieces I sent him.
