Oh man. I'm glad you ok!!! I saw the pic of your bike and my heart went into my throat hoping you didn't get hurt!

FYI I have found awesome luck with using the 5 wire R&R from the GSX-R750's from the mid 2000's for all my GS bikes.

Best of luck!!! Hope you not down too long!

Not sure but I'll check. Supposed to be walking dogs and I'm still screwing around... Bike can wait a minute. Thanks for the input though.

Say, haven't seen your GK in a while. Is it still around?

Wished you had asked me about that road, I could have forewarned ya, at least you didn't get hurt and the bike is fine.

Yeah, it would have been wise to seek your input for sure! I sent you a text message from the VLA saying I was headed toward Magdelana, then North toward Grants. I didn't however mention which road I was taking, partly because I was just not sure at that point. Anyway, thanks and I will definitely ask you about the roads down South next time!

              Cheers!

Nice! We used to love hanging out watching planes. After 9/11 the area around the airport was harder to access. Seems really odd to see an elevation only 490 feet. Like a few numbers fell off of the sign. We're sitting over 5000 feet here.

You're both sky high! The field elevation at our international airport is only 64 feet... and the float base is considerably lower than that.

I'm in the Champlain Valley some of the lowest spots in Vermont, but 5000 feet is really high!!!! Our highest peak (Mt Mansfield) is 4400' the. The mean altitude of the state is about 1000' Your up there... Another reason why I need to come out and visit!!!

I'm Done, It was 33' this AM but Screw it, I've waited too long! After a 70 mile ride after work yesterday (GOT SOAKED) I decided it's time to put my big boy pants on and go back to daily riding...

Done deal Cats, Jedz is back on a tear.

I predict a big mileage season for the TUX this year.

New Mexico ranges in elevation quite a bit, about two vertical miles difference actually. Low under 3k and high above 13k. I'm just amazed at the wide range in scenery from flat grasslands to parched desert with cacti and mesquite. Rolling hills and lakes to jagged mountains, volcanoes and just an array of gorgeous colors. One thing I'd suggest is to grab a Butler map so you don't wind up in BFNM praying for a cellphone signal to blow in on the next breeze so you can call a rescue vehicle!

I spent some time there some years ago. Found it a bit amusing that, on the drive up to the slopes for some skiing, I drove past kids outside playing in nice summer weather.
