Glad to see he made it Simon! How're you holding up? Is your house a disaster zone and Deb ready to leave yet?

Cheers Stan, it'll be back to normal any day now! Haha... still trying to re-stock the beer in the fridge...

Took the little booger to work today .
He got to meet the "trucks" and drivers .......

See how he goes tomorrow .
He whinged about getting up to early (4.30am ? Early ?)
He whinged about how far to work (an hours drive ??)
He whinged about getting home late (6.30pm ???)

        Sounds like a 20 year old .

Google Oakdare and check out some of these legendary roadtrain drivers and their rigs , if you've got a spare minute.
They keep 80% of Australia supplied with ... everything .

        Cheers , Simon .

Beer cheers me up too... But it gets frowned upon if you take a swig while serving a client...

There's a fella on the African Muscle Car forum, that drives a road train down there in Aus... He's a South African gone Aussie if I remember correctly. Some darn pretty rigs, those...

Good stuff Simon, looks like your truckie mate there's happy to have him along for the ride too! If he had more time that'd make a bit of an adventure right there!

              Hey Pete .
I told the drivers what was going on and they were fairly chuffed to help .
They get a real kick out of being recognised for what they do , every now and then .
The weather has been crap since he got here so haven't been out on the bike much . Filling in the time as best we can .
We head off on Sunday morning so we'll be out of touch till we get to RageZro's place on the 21st .

              Cheers , Simon .

Good stuff Simon, hopefully you can get him out a bit more before you leave. He gets real antsy if he gets stuck inside... seems quite prone to cabin fever!

I hope he'll be travelling first class Simon, or business class at least. Nothing worse than taking a grumpy bear through immigration!

Never got much of a chance to get young Stator out and about . The weather was crap and I had a gazillion things to do at work before I go to the States .
He was stuck at home .
We're off on the adventure today and he's pretty excited about that . It's his first trip when he hasn't been stuck in a box .
The little booger better keep his paws off the hosties . If we get chucked off the plane , it'll be bear steaks for dinner .
We'll be off the map till we get to RageZro's place on Thursday , then we'll get all his travel pics and story up
                        "See" youse next week .

                        Cheers ,Simon .
