81 GS450 rebuild - What do you all think?

    Hi All!

So after many months struggling for parts in Cape Town South Africa. I finally got my 1981 GS450 into riding condition for summer (Southern Hemisphere). Next winter I will take it all apart and powder coat and ceramic coat the engine.

Not my style but great to see you got the carbs and electrics sorted out. Time to rack up the miles!
Jealous that you are in riding season and a lot of us here have put them away.

Looks cool! A it's a bit hard to tell from the angle of the picture but is it a 2-1? Doesn't look like a MAC...what is it? I like your leatherwork I made a similar pouch for my GS450.

I like your bike and understand your trials to putting it back on the road. Now get out there and ride it and show it off. YaaaaHoooo
