What front fender is this?
Does anyone know what front fender is on this 1980 GS550 in this video?

I've looked and looked, but can only find fenders close, but just not it. It may be from something that isn't even offered in the states. The bike in the video has Uruguay plates, but even googling bike in Uruguay I don't see anything like it. -

I can find similar stuff online, but for smaller wheels. Usually for the later models that ran 16 or 17 inch wheels.Comment

On a related note: what other models are known to swap on (bolt on....matching mounting holes) a 1980 GS550?Comment

I would think most conventional style forks have very close mounting points that a little stretching of the fender holes can make just about any fender work. the big limiting factor would be the spacing between the forks. Inverted forks are mounted differently, but with some trimming of the lower mount areas and some drilling can be made to work also. That fender doesn't look to have been done that way, but if a pro fabricator did the work, we wouldn't know if it was modified. Most of the fenders I looked at, were of 250-500 cc bikes because they still used similar sized tires.Last edited by Guest; 12-26-2017, 07:56 AM.Comment

The guy from the video replied:
"the fender brand is CIRCUIT , is from Brazil and is a generic fender not from a specific bike.the fender brand is CIRCUIT , is from Brazil and is a generic fender not from a specific bike."
He also gave me a link to their website. As of yet, I haven't been able to find it on there, though.
