Help! I have a sickness

Its an addiction that will never be cured. Any attempt at finding a cure has proved futile. I have driven sport touring bikes my whole life. I am 6-1 with a 35 inch inseam and arm length to match. My first was a GS1000S. As long as your legs are not in a sport bike position, most handle bar issues can be remedied. Nothing better than rolling on the throttle of a big bore and it just keeps accelerating....Current Rides: 82 GS1100E, 00 Triumph 955 Speed Triple:twistedevil:, 03 Kawasaki ZRX1200, 01 Honda GL1800, '15 Kawasaki 1000 Versys
Past Rides: 72 Honda SL-125, Kawasaki KE-175, 77 GS750 with total yosh stage 1 kit, 79 GS1000s, 80 GS1000S, 82 GS750e,82 GS1000S, 84 VF500f, 86 FZR600, 95 Triumph Sprint 900,96 Triumph Sprint, 97 Triumph Sprint, 01 Kawasaki ZRX1200, 07 Triumph Tiger 1050, 01 Yam YFZ250F

Hey, thanks. I'll let you know, but if there's no difference in ergos, I doubt i'd like them either. You'll love your ZX-11; i have a C model acquired from original owner who parked it 20 years ago w/ 1500 miles on the clock. Usual maintenance and new tires revived her to present glory. Haven't convinced myself to run 'er up to capable 175 yet, but hitting silky-smooth 160 is a snap on local toll roads. Of course, having owned an FZ-1, the power will be no surprise to ya... but man, hearing that whistle of forced air induction is pure music!
I do have a set of 1" bar risers if you're interested. Tried them for about a month, and really didn't feel a difference in ergos. Let me know if you're interested.

Looks great. Enjoy.sigpic
When consulting the magic 8 ball for advice, one must first ask it "will your answers be accurate?"

Dave, You are fine, okay, no problem......
... if you get in with the right group, then is no problem because all seems normal ......
That would be a different problem.
(Although I have been pondering what bike would be most appropriate for me for the next few/several year.)
(Only conclusion so far is that the R1150RT aint it.)Last edited by Redman; 03-18-2018, 04:12 PM.Bikes

Welcome to the club. Nice ZX!
Don't feel disheartened, the bug hits allot of us! I'm trying to land that perfect primary everyday runner and I can't seem to find it... I had my go with a Brand new Harley last year in which I brought back to Harley and they gave me a XR-1200... In which now after 3 breakdowns and 5 failures that affected safety I'm done and moving on, again... (Did I mention I have only had the bike for 6 months and put 4K miles on it?).
I've owned ALLOT of bikes but I buy them (most of the time) to gain an experience and once I do I sell for some sort of profit. I do it so much that I have recently acquired a dealer's licence and business name...(Jedz Moto was born out of necessity)
I love it... I love Motorcycles... I don't try to curb the addiction, rather embrace it and let it pay for itself
