Quick update to this thread.
As as you know, prices are seasonally up, so it has been even harder to find a good deal on ?older? 600s because they are usually beaters. One ?Offer Up? ad kept my attention but it seemed hard to believe? 7K miles and like new AND on the lower end of the price range. Plus ?Offer up? is the ghetto of marketing IMO. I finally contacted the guy and we met him and were pleased to find this squeaky clean bike offered by a hard-working young man. I asked why he thought it had been for sale for several months and he replied that no one seemed to believe his claims about the condition of the bike and kept lowballing him?one for only $800! My son promptly negotiated a price and bought this 02 CBR600F4I in (aside from one minor crack in the tail piece) like new condition. He is now shopping for safety gear and I?m looking forward to our first ride.
