    1978 GS750/1979 GS1000 Parts

Hello fellow GS'ers! I have the opportunity to pick up a few parts off of a 1978 GS750....however...my bike is a 1979 GS1000. Both are standard model bikes. Would the exhaust, front fender and seat from the 1978 GS750 bolt right onto my 1979 GS1000? Looking for some insight from those of you who know.

fender will go on i know that much at least. however i learned the hardway you dont want to put a 1000 fender on a 750 it will hit the exhaust and screw up handling
