Due to height? I usually rock mine on to one leg of the centrestand & kick a large block under then repeat with the other side. It's not too hard but takes some muscle...Originally posted by Buffalo Bill View Post1980 GS1000G - Sold

Center stand, and a small bottle jack. I have Front and rear stand for my GSXR. Don't remember what brand they are. They are old, but work well enough. I also have one rear "spool" stand from Harbor Freight. It's a little flimsy feeling, but I've sat on the bike, and rocked around quite a bit on it. I really like that home-made jack stand you got there Charlie. You could make a few bucks on those... I'd be interested in getting a copy of the drawing...'83 GS 1100T

I have a used stand that was given to me. Do not know what bike it was used for previously, but it is too wide for the GSX1250 axles and I have no interest in fabricating attachments to make it work.

If anyone wants it and will pay for shipping you can have it

If you are in the Toronto area then maybe we can meet for coffee and you get it free!

Send me a PM and an e-mail address.

Since photobucket self-destructed I have no on-line hosting, so please give me an actual e-mail address where I can send photos.
