The Suzuki Katana Could Get An Evil R Twin

    This could be pretty cool.

    From RideApart

We have yet to see the Suzuki Katana hit the US market that rumors of a sportier R variant have already started making the rounds. Here are the details.

I want one already... Not really impressed with the look of the (prospective) Katana. The R looks like a super bike...

Not so bad from what's doing these days. Wheelbase looks longish, mo betta for the hiwy, not so fo the track.

To my take on what the Katana is and should be (which is not necessarily shared by others!) that is a much better prospect than the initial new one, although to be honest it has grown on me somewhat... my preference is still for the original though

that is a hel of a good looking bike. Im going to scan and 3d print it. note that its a pretty rough bit of photoshopping. The top bit of the bike is almost a perfect scaled down image of an original katana. No wonder it looks good over all.
Some evil webcoding was preventing links to the pic
            direct link works though

Plenty of color in the exhaust pipes. Maybe the rendition of the rumor is that it's not running perfectly.

I definitely prefer the rear fender on the rendition to the swingarm-mounted production version. Those always looks like awkward afterthoughts to me no matter what bike they're on.

PS: I'm one of the rare ones who love the new Katana, but then I love the GSX-S1000 that it's based on too.

Hmmmm.. I wonder if the 1135 is a nod to the ole 1150 which actually is an 1135cc.
