    Rear swingarm/Wheel replacement

Hello all, I have been looking for some help on this subject, and I cannot seem to find what I am looking for. It's possible I am searching the wrong words or looking in the wrong places. Any help is much appreciated.

I have an 81 gs550, and I am converting the front forks to 11-17 GSXR inverted forks. I do not want 2 different wheels, and I am trying to figure out how I can get aftermarket wheels that will fit the front and the rear. I am sure the info is out there, I just cant find it.

Depends if you want to keep original wheel diameters or want to change. Your inverted forks would have used 17inch wheels. You could use the wheels which drop in to them and use a 17 X 4.5 inch rear from another Suzuki on the rear. They would at least look the same. While the front would be easy, there would inevitably be some machining needed for the rear. 18inch GSXR rims are also an option front and rear.

What about wheels from a GS500? If you just want to match them up and not go super fat on the rear tyre that might work...

        Good luck getting a 4.5 or 5.5" GSXR wheel into a 550....
