Yep, very true, they are most definitely quite susceptible to the sale to upgrade choice! I'm one of the odd ones out like yourself there

Mind you I'm thinking of doing that very thing at the moment, but that's a different story...

Back on topic, yes, I'm only repeating what I've heard as possible reasons why they're not so prevalent, and it most definitely differs country to country too. The Katanas are a perfect example where they just didn't get all that popular in the US, and my understanding is they're more popular now as a classic than they were when they were new.

I got a re-print of the genuine 450 twins manual from him and it's excellent. No incorrect torque specs listed (both Clymer and Haynes had some wrong).

If he has the right one for your model, well worth it I reckon.
