Always surprised to see the 'lunchbox' on a 750.

Welcome. Looks like the bike is in fairly good aesthetic shape. Make sure to go through all the electrical connections either cleaning or replacing them. Don't forget the ones inside the lunch box. Change all fluids and don't run on ancient tires even though they may look like good tread. Old rubber gets hard.

Bike is going in for Warrant of fitness and re registration this week. New clutch pack put in and clutch basket rivets welded and springs shimmed.

Ha ha. Enjoyed many a spam sandwich as a kid. I liked a little mayo on it.

                          Nice Bike.

I've been working on a '80 GS750L. It ran just fine when I bought it last fall. I've been working to freshen it up, knock some of that 40 yrs off of it, tires, brake lines, master cylinder rebuild, oil pan gasket. I thought I was all ready for last weekend. I just needed to torque head bolts and check valve clearance. Ended up tearing valve cover gasket. Should have ordered complete set of gaskets straight off. Live and learn. First real ride is delayed another week. I'm sure more gremmies will pop up after that.

                          Best of luck to you.
