Hello everyone. I previously owned a 79 gs850 with windjammer fairing. Still regret selling that bike. I just picked up a 1980 gs1000g with attached sidecar. It is not.currently running..owner said it needs battery, tires and fuel lines. Look forward to receiving this bike and hoping nothing more will get in the way. It has 25k miles on it. Any suggestions from people on what to look for would be appreciated.

WOnder why siad needs fuel lines. Is only one from petcock to the carb bank.

Tell us more after you get it and have chance to inspect further.

I suspect that fairing is what the dealer could put on (and then it and side car painted).
