    What is it?

    1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

    2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

            Well, looks like it yus'ta have been a "79" 750E, can't tell for sure now. But we'll be counting on you getting it up to parr again. Good luck.

              Whatever it was, good luck. At first glance and assumptions, gonna need most or the electrics, all handlebar controls: hydraulic, cable, and electric. Some kind of air filtration, full carb clean and rejetting. Someone wanted a hard tail for some reason. Never understood the appeal, myself. Looks completely unridable. But, whatever float your boat. I’m sure you’ll find whatever answers you seek in the archives, at least with whatever is left of the original GS. Use the search function. See link in my signature for BikeCliffs Website.
