    My new '83 GS1100E!

Hey gang, I haven't been here for a while but I just picked up this stunning '83 GS1100E, which I will be receiving tomorrow! Only 13K miles, all original, and which has been completely gone through. Carbs, brakes, electronics, suspension, etc. I bought my first "superbike" in '78 when I was 20 when I got my '78 GS1000C for only $2,749. I rode that through college and beyond. I can't wait to see and ride my new to me '83 GS11E! Happy 67th bday to me! Cheers!

Welcome and great looking bike. Just wondering if you been riding anything lately or been out for a while.

Beautiful example, congrats on the purchase. A well worn 83 1100e is what set me down the path for the love of old Suzukis.

For me, since the GS's started, the Suzuki standard and "E" bars were too tall. Those look about the right for me, but would rather not have the dirt-bike bar running across the middle.... Still looks really good.
