I had hoped that it would never happen.

I have been a member of this forum for a while now and have purchased a lot of used parts from it's members and sold a bunch as well. I had hopes that I would not get took by another member in a transaction.

My hopes are gone. I recently purchased a set of carbs for a 750 {cleaned, dipped and ready to go says AX2007} I guess that he did not expect me to pull them apart and take a look.

Dirty bowls and jets, no bowl gaskets or the little doughnuts covering the plug. One pilot jet has an easy-out broken off in it, another one is stripped and still stuck in the body, and worst of all the slides have been drilled, the needles sandpapered, and two bad diaphragms.

Bend over Vinny you have just been buggered by a member.

    Now I feel better.

          Sorry to read that gustovh.

I have also bought and sold to members. IDK maybe 20 times, probably more. Never got F*****. Thought I did once but it was a paypal issue.

How out of money are you?

I have not had a reply from him and don't expect one. Certainly did not expect what I received, no mention of drilled slides or the rest of the problems when the deal was made. Only airing his dirt.

If he is blowing you off then , let it be known who he is. From what you describe he is being indignant.

Selling a set of carbs advertised as cleaned and ready to go that are in that condition is criminal.

                        Excerpt from our communication..

They the clean ones or the dirty ones?
