I was signed up here awhile ago, but life and other distractions kept me occupied. I'm back!
This year I proclaim to be the year I get my GS on the road. She's been moved a few times from various barns/friends' garages. She was given to me for the low, low cost of free. I'm embarking on this journey slowly, as funds are limited, but I'm learning as I go too.
I'm so grateful for the info that abounds here, and the knowledge that is shared. It gives me the confidence to attempt this project as a noob.
I have the carburetors off the bike, as well as the fuel tank. Slowly making some progress in this rebuild.
FYI, I have a 650GL, 1983.
