    newb

I am new to motorcycling (2 years) and started on a '83 Honda VF750 Sabre, graduated to a '01 Kawa Vulcan 850 Classic (which i loved) but had to get rid of when I moved. Now just bought an '82 Suzuki GS850 that's been sitting for 6-7 years. Joined to get any and all info on this bike. Looking forward to learning!

Welcome aboard. Pictures please. Also go read GS stator in my signature and do a "Quick Test " to see if there is anything salvageable in the charging system. Get a volt meter.
