BassCliff who? This is why I haven't been around much.

    Hello friends,

I know, I know. I hit this forum about once a week now. Life has gotten busy. Too busy to put my Jessie back together. I'm telling myself that come September, when life slows down a little, that I'll be able to carve out some time.

In the meantime, I thought I'd share with you what's kept me so busy. Below is a link to a bass player forum (Thanks Bob!) where I've been documenting my gigs. We've picked up a pretty sweet gig for the summer. Check it out.

Note: There's no need to join the Talkbass.com forum just to read the thread, see the pictures, videos, descriptions, and comments.

I hope you are enjoying your summer riding season. I'll be back on two wheels one of these days. I promise.

That is awesome, I'm glad you are getting somewhere with music. I absolutely love music, and it's been a big part of my life for a long time. I'm a vocalist myself (also play trumpet and a little guitar) so I love seeing people have success with what they love. Keep it up, and from the YouTube videos I saw, y'all sound fantastic. Very jealous, and hopefully one day I can do something with my vocal experience. Congrats!

Yep, Kelly (the brunette) is a regular part of the band, in fact it's her band. Stephanie was hired just for this showcase. It's a full-on Disney production that's been scripted, orchestrated, with specially decorated stage, special lighting, stage crew, sound crew, backlined, etc. I walk on the stage, plug in, play the show, and walk off. It's a sweet gig. We even got paid for rehearsals. Cool.

Thanks to all for your kind words and good wishes.

            Good for you Cliff.

Was beginning to wonder if all was well with you but can see now that all is much better than well!!

Enjoy the times while they last...
It's smoke that make electronic components work.
Every time I've let the smoke out by mistake, they never work again.

Thank you. Yes, I know how fortunate I am. It's feast or famine in the music business. I'll ride it as far as it goes.

All the best to you and yours,

Yes, it can be work but it's really fun. The Mouse is treating us like rock stars, except he doesn't feed us. Not even cheese.

It won't last forever but it'll be good til it's gone.

                      Take care buddy!

As soon as I get this going back together again I'll be around more often.

One of these days I'll have time for Bill or Ray to come over and give me a hand. Until then, I'll just play my little bass and sing my little song.

Hey, stranger! We were going to send out a search party!

Glad to see things going well musically (and any other way). Get that machine back together already. It looks lonely.
