My New Love GS500F ♥

Greets, I just joined up and thought I'd say hi.

Picked up a mint 2005 GS500F recently and really loving it. Very happy with the deal, she's only got 6,500 miles and looks brand new, for a cool $1,500.



Any other GS500F owners on here? I'm just enjoying the bike for now while I finish my DR350 rebuild but looking forward to some upgrades this winter. I know options are limited aside from boring/etc but what all performance mods are out there for this bike? Any recommendations?

Very nice score. They pop up on craigslist fairly often around here. Usually with low miles, too. But usually the seller wants more than I have or the plastics are all scratched/busted up.

How does it ride? I think the only complaints I've read about them is that they are a bit heavy for only being 500cc.
