Just wanted to say hello to everyone, my name is Charles I own a 1982 Suzuki GS1100G I picked up for $300 not running bought a used cdi box off ebay for $100 and have been riding it since and love it. Still have a few problems with it that hopefully I can get figured out with the help of my fellow gs owners. which I will be posting about in the right sections I hope..lol

Hi there! Welcome. I spent the last 15 or so years in Chicago before moving north to Milwaukee. Hello from another Midwesterner.

P.M. me. i am about 20 from you.

Welcome. I hope you have a good experience. I have been finding this forum different. The articles are professional and well written. this isn't a forum where a bunch of dumb are asked and bob tells you that brand x gave him 40 horsepower. it is an a living encyclopedia of not just GS knowledge but information teaching all about bikes and fundementals for working on them. I am now all bought in on my GS, and not sure anything else will do.

Well, then, Charles, maybe not too far from S.W. Indiana (Bedford) for the GS rally, that I assume will be in June again.
Keep an eye out in the Meeting Place section.
