Hey ye all,
I am the newest owner of a GS1100GKE. Although I haven't seen it or rode it as of yet and won't be able to until October 3rd. I live in Tallahassee FL and the bike is in Remindervilles Ohio. I am going to fly up for my mom's birthday (85 yrs. old) and then ride the BRP to the Dragon tail with my brother and then back to Florida.
I bought the Bike from a small shop in Ohio called the Akron Suzuki Works run by John Wilson. It looks like they went over the bike pretty well, so I am just slapping on some new tires for my road trip.
I rode thru the Blue Ridge Parkway on a Honda Valkyrie about a year ago and enjoyed it. My brother wants to take his older GW to the dragon tail for some twisty rides.
I hope their are some GS Rides in the Big Bend area, I like to take long rides , eat and talk about bikes.
