Hi everyone, I am a proud owner of a 81' GSX750(ex?), the one with the round lamp , bought it a couple of years ago with 50000Km on it, now 80000 and still working great. Hope to find useful information and advices on the forum!

I am not that familiar with the European models to help with the EX situation. But posting a photo would help others that are more familiar with it.

That is my bike, the picture is 1 year old actually, got a new seat on it now, it is not completely original.

I think the naming is different in Europe, we have GS for the 8 valve version, and GSX for the 16 valve (starting from 80'), then the letters after the name represents some optional features. Not sure about the "E" but I think the "X" is for the round lap and tachometer which I prefer, it gives it a more classic look. I think the exact naming of the models got lost in the years and in the net you find a lot of contradictory info.
