Soda blasted carbs yesterday, going to stick them in the sonic tank when i get some time, and clean them up on the inside yet.

Still not sure the direction I will go as far as carbs/exhaust yet....but these needed cleaning either way

Cleaned up the garage this past week, before snow works it way here.
      Doing some rearranging......

It has been neglected for way too long, and really needs to be finished...too many things in the garage in pieces keeps me off track..

Things might be moving slow for a while....
I may have just purchased another house, which needs a garage like this one put on the property, before I move everything.
So my time may be tied up a bit....
In the meantime, the GS is safe, and I have almost everything I need to start replating ALL my bolts....So I can at least get the engine bolted back in.
Should have my rear shocks here early next week...off of a 1994 final edition Katana from Japan.
Forks will get first gen Katana spring preloaders and Race Tech internals... at some point before they are bolted on....?

Shocks showed up today (need to get springs off, and get the yellow rubber coating off the original black paint).....
No real work being done, just collecting parts....too cold to ride anyway.....

My biggest challenge next, is trying to get the bearing races out of the neck, and the bearing off the lower triple.... without spending a lot of money on tools I'll only use maybe a few times....?

Dremel a few cuts in the races then use a sharp chisel and large hammer to bust the races in half. Drive the new races in with chunks of PVC pipe.

That is the method I used on my Katana.... but I was hoping there might be a better trick of doing it, without doing any possible damage?

This and a big hammer. Putting the races in is easier with a press but can be done without. Don't know how to take off the fork race other than chisel and hammer but that can get messy if it is stubborn.
