    Who knew?

I was picking up a few things at the grocery, just leaving the lot when this great guy came by to say he loved my GS ('81 GS 1100) and had I replaced the carb gaskets yet? Hmmm...anyway he said mine looked great for their age, and also, he had a 550 at home and seemed to know about GS Suzukis. Told me about this site. Who knew? I certainly had never heard of it. Never got his name but from what I can see here already, it's the place to be! Great family of riders. -nesster

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

Where in general are you located.

That fellow was probably mentioning the carb boot o-rings (in boots, against the head)... or maybe the boots also.
