Just joined: 1978 GS750E owner in Melbourne, VIC (Aus)

Just joined up as this site does seem quite active and has a wealth of GS resources.

I bought my GS750E over 5 years ago, but only got it registered (as a historic vehicle) and on the road a few months back - too many other projects.

I felt that it was rather heavy at first, but I am now used to it and find it quite well mannered for such an old beast.

There are a few issues, but generally it is in good shape for the age and I hope to keep it running for a few years yet.

If anyone is interested in such things, it is VIN# GS750E-21700.

Ha, today I joined as well, and picked up a '76 GS750 for a rebuild/cafe project, and in Melbourne! Such cool bikes.

Whereabouts in Melb are you? I am Glen Waverley. I have a genuine suzuki service manual if you ever need something looked up.

What state is yours in? Running?

Nope, the photo needs to be web hosted

Thanks BigT. I had previously looked at the new users thread, but didn't click through to the megawelcome link. There are some good tips there to be sure.

Couldn't find anything about pictures, so browsed the Q&A and found this thread: http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum...4-picture-size

                          That answered all my questions.
