    And a fairly solid-looking one too. I've never seen anyone paint the stock exhaust black though. I suppose there might be some nasty scratches under that paint. Speaking of paint, that tank looks pretty good, even with the ding. Since you didn't introduce this as a skunk, you may not know how much some people love these things. I hope you don't have any plans for it other than restoration and riding. Don't even think about cutting on it!

      thanks i plan on getting those dings out putting the suzuki embles back on it when i get the screws and if i can find one the other gs1000 emblem that and getting that black paint off of the pipes a new seat cover and mirrors

            yea ill post some when i get it looking better and it runs good other than i need to clean and adjust the carbs i rode it around a neighborhood and it will get up and go
