New to me 1979 GS850g

Hello every one I just got home from picking up my new to me GS850g. It's in what seems to be really good running condition. Needs s battery won't hold a charge. Tires seem good atleast 50 percent no dry rot, My biggest concern is she has 53000 miles is the really high mileage for these bikes, It came with a matching vetter fairing that is not on the bike, but in great shape. I have 800.00 in her I hope I didn't over pay, oh hell I don't care if I over paid I like it

Great looking ride my friend I have the exact same bike 49k on her she still purrs my advice do a charging system check and I also found mine runs better with the glass matt battery.

I have a half inch gap between my seat and the rear cover I cant figure out why
