    New GS750ES Owner in Ottawa

    Hi
First post on the forum. Recently picked up a really clean 1986 GS750ES with 23,000 km on the clock. Have plans to do some cosmetic work, such as cleaning up the 4-1 headers that are rusty, installing braided brake lines, etc.

    Regards,
    Rob

Looks nice. Congrats and welcome! As a 700ES owner I can testify that these are a blast to ride and comfortable. Enjoy.

      Hi Rob, and welcome.

You didn't buy that out of a garage in Vanier, did you? I used to live in Ottawa and went to see a bike that looked just like that back in 2011 or so.

        Welcome to the site, Rob.
For stainless lines a lot of us have used Apex in Toronto with good results.

My last visit to Ottawa included a visit to Woody's Salvage.
What a mess but we had a good time.

Thanks guys. Bike came from Kanata.

Steve - Woody and I are good friends. We rode together up to see the vintage road races in Calabogie yesterday. He on his FJ and me on the 750ES. His salvage yard is a hoot. You can spend days in there poking around!
