    Back Again

I All, Old/new member from Spain.

I am Spanish, I live in Madrid, and I have a beautiful GS1000S of 1.979, which gives me some problems. This is my first big bike and it has been with me for almost 40 years.

    This is how she was:

After some restoration time, I managed to give it back its original appearance:

Oh. My. God. That is gorgeous! I've always thought that is probably the best paint scheme on any bike ever. Love it. Thanks for sharing!!!

              Manu,

              Wow, Oh, Wow!

Tell us how you managed such a good paint recreation.

              Welcome Back.

PS: On original photo, those look like GK mirrors.
(Check out the GSR GK project posting.)

Nice Job and there are several here that share your fondness towards the S. Hey, would you mind riding that bike down to Rota and take a picture of it in front of my old house?!!

Welcome Manu! I mean... welcome back!

What a transformation...really obscure original color but definitely a head Turner if that bike was over here in the states.

Those chrome mirrors really make that retro look compared to the other ones.

I never made it to Madrid...but was close when I spent 3 weeks in Zaragoza on a work assignment. I took my family to Rota and ventured to Sevilla and the Rock of Gibraltar. I love Spain!
