Know that he is fighting for his life with stage 4 pancreatic and liver cancer, and is in great pain. Whether you like him or not, he could use all the support that he can get.

I didn't know this. We kept in touch for a couple of years after he left. Is he home or in the hospital ? I have his email address....... -
He called me two weeks ago and said they thought it was stage 4 pancreatic cancer. That was two days before he was to have a PET test. I haven't heard back from him about the results yet. I didn't want to say anything here, because there are too many people that will take the opportunity to say something disparaging about him.Comment

Eric was among the first people to offer me advice when I joined the forum, and yes he has a very bad name with some others here.
Bottom line.... cancer sucks and I hope the cure comes sooner rather than later. I wish Eric the best.-Mal
