Hello...New to this bike...1981 gs650 g purchased from orig owner friend with 6000 miles...need to go thru carbs..clean tank...looking for words of wisdom!!

Welcome to GSR.
Do follow the carb clean tutorial mentioned about, dont just spray carb cleaner here and there.
If need o-rings (probably will) check out Cycle O-Rings web site.
