    My new, old GS850G

    Gidday all,
I'm new to GS's having just bought my first one. A 1980 GS850G. I've tried to attach a picture to this post but couldn't get it to work.
So far it's going well. She's a good looking bike and is running fairly well. Just a few issues.
My first challenge is to replace the seat cover and get some new mufflers. Any advice on where to start would by highly appreciated. I'm hoping to keep it as original as I can.
Looking forward to getting to know this forum.

For seat covers try Pitreplica. They are overseas, but you can't beat the price. Think I paid $79 Canadian > Comes with lock grommet, piping, French seams and Suzuki logo embossing. Order online from their catalogue. As for mufflers I had a sleeve welded onto the headers and bought Mac slip on mufflers. They come with a sliding bracket and look original.

When consulting the magic 8 ball for advice, one must first ask it "will your answers be accurate?"
